How will Holo-Org support SES leaders in cross-agency initiatives?
Layla Ibrahim
SES Band 2 Leader, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, 40 years old, Lebanese-Australian
I’m Layla Ibrahim, a 40-year-old Lebanese-Australian SES Band 2 Leader at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Cross-agency collaboration is crucial for whole-of-government efficiency, but siloed systems made it a struggle. I worried we’d never achieve the DTA’s 2024 ICT Strategy goals, leaving Australians with disjointed services.
That’s when Aisha Al-Farsi, Holo-Org’s External Relations lead, brought her peacemaking skills to the table. Aisha’s team used Holo-Org to create reusable workflows, connecting agencies seamlessly. I remember hosting a meeting with Health and Defence—Holo-Org handled data-sharing with 100% compliance, and AKS scaled to 40,000 agents at 99.95% uptime. Aisha’s diplomatic approach ensured all agencies felt heard, fostering collaboration.
For APS staff fearing silos, Holo-Org breaks down barriers—it’s our tool for unity, ensuring we serve Australians as one government. I’m proud to lead initiatives that benefit all Australians, thanks to Holo-Org.
